The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
(Bronze Level)

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is an experiential award that recognizes dedication, leadership and goal setting. The award allows young individuals to set attainable goals and work towards them through volunteer work and practical learning. The award develops essential life skills and builds character, resilience, problem solving and respect for diversity.

Bronze Level

The Bronze Level of the Award requires you to select a service, a skill and a physical recreation activity to work towards for the duration of the award journey.

 

The Bronze level requires the completion of the following:

​

  • 13 weeks of Service (Children’s Hospital Volunteering)

  • 13 weeks of Skill (Boating)

  • 13 weeks of Physical Recreation (Track and Field)

  • 13 additional weeks of either your service, skill or physical recreation activity.

  • Adventurous Journey: Inclusive of a one-day practice journey and a two-days + 1 night qualifying journey.
