Low Cal, High Protein Tiramisu In a Bowl

You LOVE tiramisu but you can do without all the dairy … I got you! ;)

This is an easier, healthier, higher protein tiramisu option to satisfy that sweet tooth. This can easily be vegan by substituting your favourite dairy free yogurt.


Ingredients

6oz Coffee/espresso

3/4 cup Vanilla Skyr Yogurt

1 1/2 tbsp Maple Syrup

3 Rice Cakes

Cocoa Powder, as desired


Directions

Prepare your coffee and let cool completely (1-2 hours). Measure out your yogurt in a small bowl, add the maple syrup and mix completely.

Add a small layer of yogurt to the bottom of a separate round dish or bowl (preferably one with a lid for refrigeration). Dunk your first rice cake in coffee until completely saturated. Place over the bottom layer of yogurt. Add another layer of yogurt on top of the rice cake. Repeat for each rice cake, finish with a generous final coat of yogurt and sift cocoa powder on top.


*Notes & Substitutions


substitute your favourite yogurt. I used vanilla yogurt with added sweetness. If opting for plain or unsweetened yogurt, you can add more maple syrup, flavoured protein powder or your own sweetener of choice (or a little bit of each). Play around with ratios in this recipe to your liking. I used maple syrup but you can also use honey.
